TravelCenters of America Signs 5-Year Agreement With Core-Mark

Distributor will provide foodservice offerings to more than 320 TA stores

WESTLAKE, Ohio — TravelCenters of America LLC has signed a five-year supply agreement with Core-Mark Holding Co. Inc. Core-Mark will provide broad foodservice offerings to more than 320 of TravelCenters’ corporate-owned travel centers, fuel stores and convenience stores in 42 states, according to the agreement.

“We believe the Core-Mark team is ideally suited to be an excellent strategic partner for TA, and we look forward to utilizing many of the goods and services that Core-Mark can supply,” said Tom Newbould, senior vice president of stores for TravelCenters of America.

TravelCenters of America, with headquarters in Westlake, Ohio, has more than 260 locations in 43 states and Canada, principally under the TA, Petro Stopping Centers and TA Express travel-center brands. The chain ranked No. 28 in the Top 40 update to CSP’s2018 Top 202 ranking of c-store chains by number of retail outlets.

South San Francisco, Calif.-based Core-Mark offers a variety of products, marketing programs and technologies to more than 44,000 customer locations in the United States and Canada through 32 distribution centers. Core-Mark services traditional convenience retailers, grocers, drug, liquor and specialty stores, as well as other stores that carry convenience products.
