The 711 Club

7-Eleven says "Wake Up with a Hot Brazilian"

DALLAS & RIO DE JANIERO -- Taking "convenient pickup" to a new level, 7-Eleven Inc. has debuted a virtual dating game, The 711 Club, at www.the711club.com, which challenges consumers own "game" for a chance to wake up with a Hot Brazilian...cup of coffee.

Launched Tuesday, the game whisks players away to Rio de Janiero's exotic 711 Club, where they select a hot "date" from a group of attractive women and men. Game play involves navigating various nightclub scenarios by selecting the correct humorous "pickup lines" [image-nocss] from a multiple choice list. Players earn "mojo points" for each correct answer, as well as through other nightclub challenges. Sufficient "mojo" earns players an invitation to "Wake Up with a Hot Brazilian" via a downloadable coupon for 7-Eleven's Brazilian Bold coffee and a map to their nearest store location.

Other features include a dance-off game giving players a chance to show their moves by trying to stay in-rhythm with their date and the opportunity to share "pictures" and brag about the experience to friends.

For coffee-drinkers who prefer stronger, darker brews, 7-Eleven's Brazilian bold coffee is a premium roast featuring select beans from the high mountains of Central and South America. "It has a robust taste at a reasonable price," the company said.

Dallas-based 7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses some 7,850 7-Eleven stores in North America. Globally, 7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 36,600 stores in 15 countries. During 2008, 7-Eleven stores worldwide generated total sales of more than $53.7 billion.
