Maverik is releasing an “M”-shaped doughnut as part of its National Donut Day celebration June 2.

The Salt Lake City-based convenience-store chain also is offering Adventure Club members 50% off all doughnuts, one per transaction, while Nitro members will get one free doughnut.

The chocolate-iced “M” doughnut is covered with red and gold sprinkles and is available for the promotion along with all other doughnuts.

Maverik has a partnership with Madbrook Donut Company, Roy, Utah, for its baked creations. Along with the “M” doughnut available on National Donut Day, customers can choose from cake doughnuts, bars, fritters and more.

Maverik also sells exclusive baked recipes including muffins, cinnamon rolls and cookies. That’s in addition to pizzas, sandwiches, gourmet burritos and toasted subs, the company said. Adventure Club and Nitro members enjoy deals daily on food, drinks and fuel.

Maverik in May was voted best gas station food in the nation in the 2023 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

Salt Lake City-based Maverik has about 400 locations and is growing across 12 western states, making it the largest independent fuel marketer in the Intermountain West. Locations include Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. It acquired the Kum & Go convenience-store chain in April.
