Ruiz Foods Promotes Carroll

Appointed to VP sales, marketing, convenience, foodservice
DINUBA, Calif. -- Ruiz Foods Inc. has appointed Kimberli Carroll to the position of vice president sales and marketing, convenience and foodservice. Carroll joined Ruiz Foods in 2001 as marketing manager foodservice and has held positions to include foodservice marketing director and director of foodservice marketing and convenience store.

"Kimberli's passion for Ruiz Foods and the El Monterey brand has made her an excellent choice for this leadership role," said Bryce Ruiz, president and co-CEO of Dinuba, Calif.-based Ruiz Foods. "Her enthusiasm and leadership over the [image-nocss] past eight years has been a vital motivator in the growth of both our c-store and foodservice channels."

With nearly 20 years experience in the food industry prior to joining Ruiz Foods, Carroll's career includes ProduceOnline.com, PTG Management, the California Tomato Commission and Monfort Management Services.

Ruiz Foods is a privately owned corporation. Third-generation Kim Ruiz Beck, the elder daughter of co-chairman and co-CEO Fred Ruiz, is co-chairman. Bryce Ruiz, the elder son, is president and co-CEO.

Ruiz Foods offers premium quality, authentically prepared frozen Mexican foods selling to all channels of distribution: retail, convenience store, clubs, vending, industrial and foodservice. The signature brand is El Monterey.
