Convenience-store retailer Rutter’s has revamped its food packaging to highlight the chain’s freshly prepared Made For You menu options.

“The introduction of our new packaging truly reflects what our food offering is all about … it’s ‘Made For You,” said Chad White, foodservice category manager at Rutter’s. “Our goal is always to provide customers with an exceptional dining experience, and our new and improved packaging is a key part of that. It not only enhances the presentation of our food but also highlights the wide variety of options available.”

  • Rutter’s is No. 82 on CSP’s 2023 Top 202 ranking of the largest U.S. c-store chains by number of company-owned locations.

Rutter’s also recently debuted three new limited-time menu items—Kickin’ Chicken and Waffles, The Donut Breakfast and Grilled Mac & Cheese.

Also new to the menu is the Peanut Butter Burger, a 4-ounce Angus beef burger topped with cheddar cheese and onion rings, along with Reese’s peanut butter sauce and barbecue sauce served on a kaiser roll.

Additionally, Rutter’s began offering seven Spam food items available to order at a kiosk or pick up at the hot hold. The promotion, in partnership with Spam maker Hormel Foods, Austin, Minnesota, runs through the end of September. Customers can choose from two different breakfast sandwiches, a breakfast bowl, grilled cheese, burger, macaroni and cheese and a warm Spam and cheese pretzel roll sandwich.

Rutter’s customers can purchase these new options at any time, as the food and beverage menu is available 24/7.

Rutter’s is a privately held chain of convenience stores based in York, Pennsylvania. It operates 84 locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia.
