Sheetz Says Four 'and 'Fore'

Chain opens fourth location in Greenville, N.C., makes donation to golf program
ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz Inc. has opened a new location in Greenville, N.C. The new store is the fourth location in Greenville. It is the 19th Sheetz store to open in the state. While doors officially opened to customers yesterday morning, employees will host a grand opening celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 6 for customers and media.

As part of the celebration on November 6, the company will make a donation to Greenville Parks & Recreation. The contribution will be used to help develop a new golf program for kids from the city of Greenville.

"Over [image-nocss] the past two years people in Greenville have embraced Sheetz and we are happy to continue to grow with the city," said Louie Sheetz, executive vice president of marketing for Sheetz. "As well, Sheetz has a long tradition of being involved in youth-centered activities so we are happy to further our commitment to support the children of Greenville through the parks and recreation department."

The new store features an extensive menu of Made To Order (MTO) cold and toasted subs, sandwiches and salads, along with French fries, onion rings, chicken fingers, burgers and more.

The 5,000 square-foot store will also feature Sheetz Bros. Coffeez, a full-service espresso and smoothie bar staffed by a trained barista. Customers can order hand-made specialty coffee drinks including lattes, cappuccinos and mochas--hot, frozen or iced. Frozen fruit smoothies round out the specialty drink menu. Sheetz customers place their food and specialty coffee orders at touchscreen order kiosks. A surcharge-free ATM and a variety of retailer gift and phone cards are also available.
