Three subs are the newest additions to Rutter’s limited-time-offer menu.

Italiano and Spicy Italiano, each $6.99, and the Powerhouse Chicken Parm, $7.99, are rolling out now at the York, Pennsylvania-based convenience-store chain.

The Italiano is a classic Italian sub featuring authentic imported meats including mortadella, salami and prosciutto. This is paired with crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes and drizzled with olive oil and vinegar. It’s finished with a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.

  • Rutter’s is No. 82 on CSP’s 2023 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

The Spicy Italiano, a classic Italian sub with a zesty twist, features the same authentic imported meats, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, olive oil, vinegar and Italian seasoning but includes hot pepper relish.

Finally, the Powerhouse Chicken Parm goes beyond a classic chicken parm sub with the inclusion of golden brown mozzarella sticks. The sandwich also includes savory marinara sauce and gooey provolone cheese—all in an amoroso sub roll to provide a crunch.

“Our customers undeniably favor the Italian flavor profile, and we’re committed to fulfilling their preferences by consistently improving our selection with the introduction of new items,” said Philip Santini, Rutter’s senior director of advertising and foodservice.

Rutter’s, a privately held chain, operates 84 locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia.
