Four Sale in Midwest

Clark stations may be rebranded

CHICAGO -- Four gasoline convenience stores, including real estate, have been put up for sale in the Midwest. The sites are situated on corner lots in Rochelle, Ill., and in Cedar Rapids, Dubuque and Waterloo, Iowa.

All of the locations are currently Clark stations and may be debranded at the time of sale, at purchaser's option. Purchasers will be required to enter into their own fuel supply arrangements.

The stores range in size from 900 to 2,500 square feet and are located on sites ranging from 15,500 to 18,500 square feet.

NRC Realty Advisors LLC (NRC) is coordinating the sealed-bid sale. The locations will be sold through a sealed bid sale in a buy one, some or all format with bids due on Tuesday, September, 2005.

A complete site list is available online at www.nrc.com/518, or by calling the NRC Customer Service Center at 800-747-3342, extension 518. NRC has prepared a color sales brochure and individual property-specific packages (PSP) for each property, which contain store level information and bidding terms of sale. Packets are $35 for a hard copy and $25 for a CD-ROM.

Chicago-based NRC specializes in the accelerated sale of petroleum industry property and commercial real estate throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada, and it has sold more than 10,000 properties since its inception in 1989, the firm said. Since 2003, NRC has coordinated the sale of more than 1,600 sites aggregating more than $560 million in sales. Clients include major oil companies such as Sunoco Inc., BP and Shell Oil Co.; c-store chains; other retailers including K Mart; independent retailers and distributors throughout the country; and more.
