Roderick Promoted at Dead River

Named president of real estate division

PORTLAND, Maine -- Richard M. Roderick has been named president of the real estate division of heating oil purveyor and convenience store operator Dead River Co., company President Robert A. Moore said. Roderick remains as Dead River's senior vice president. He previously served as the company's CFO.

Dick Roderick is a valuable member of Dead River's senior management team, and this new position recognizes his significant contribution to the growth and success of our real estate division, said Moore. Dick will continue to be heavily involved in management [image-nocss] and financial matters for the company.

Roderick has been with Dead River since 1979.

Bangor, Maine-based Dead River is the largest distributor of residential heating fuels (propane, home heating oil, and kerosene) in northern New England and operates a chain of 20 c-stores in Maine. The company's Dead River Properties division, located in Portland, Maine, is engaged in commercial real estate, developing, owning and managing a large portfolio of properties that includes office buildings, industrial buildings and shopping centers in states from Maine to Florida.
