GPM Expands Partnership With Core-Mark

Deal brings total number of company’s stores supplied by the distributor to 969

RICHMOND, Va. — GPM Investments LLC has expanded its service agreement with Core-Mark Holding Co. Inc. Core-Mark will provide various products to an additional 376 GPM stores, bringing the total number of GPM stores being supplied by Core-Mark to 969 in 17 states, according to the agreement.

“Our teams have formed an excellent partnership that should grow for many years to come as we have a shared vision for our stores and customers' needs,” said Chris Giacobone, COO of GPM Investments.

GPM, based in Richmond, Va., operates or supplies fuel to stores in Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Its stores operate under the Admiral, Apple Market, BreadBox, E-Z Mart, Fas Mart, Jiffi Stop, Jiffy Stop, Li’l Cricket, Next Door Store, 1-Stop, Roadrunner Markets, Scotchman, Shore Stop, Village Pantry and Young’s brands.

GPM ranked No. 6 in the Top 40 update to CSP’s 2018 Top 202 ranking of c-store chains by number of retail outlets.

South San Francisco, Calif.-based Core-Mark offers a variety of products, marketing programs and technologies to more than 44,000 customer locations in the United States and Canada through 32 distribution centers. Core-Mark services traditional convenience retailers, grocers, drug, liquor and specialty stores, as well as other stores that carry convenience products.
