Fast Stop Travel Centers has acquired a Conoco Travel Plaza with a convenience store in Meadow, Utah.
The Conoco station and c-store are 4,400 square feet, and the site includes 18 fueling stations for automobiles and one fueling station for semi-trucks.
Mountain West Commercial Real Estate (MWCRE) Agent Matthew Porter helped facilitate the investment sale transaction. He represented the buyer and the seller.
“Fast Stop is a great local company that is expanding rapidly in the region,” Porter said he said it is a growth-oriented company.
Family-owned Fast Stop Travel Centers, based in Ogden, Utah, operates stores ranging from smaller urban c-stores to larger travel centers across Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado and Nebraska. It offers Chevron, Texaco, 76, Conoco, Shell and Sinclair fuels. Its stores feature A&W, Subway, Taco Time and family-style sit-down restaurants, as well as gab-and-go foods. The company also owns motels and RV parks.
In October 2022, MWCRE also facilitated the acquisition by Fast Stop Travel Centers of nine c-stores from Rapid City, S.D.-based Common Cents Stores in southeastern Idaho.
A group of regional brokers founded Salt Lake City, Utah-based MWCRE in 2009 to operate a commercial real estate brokerage. In December 2022, MWCRE also facilitated the acquisition by retailer Yousuf and Yousuf LLC of a Chevron gas station and c-store in Spanish Fork, Utah, for $1.3 million from an undisclosed seller.
