Fuel volume at Jimmy Morgan’s Atlanta-area BP jobbership has dipped “probably 10%” since an untamed oil slick began polluting the Gulf of Mexico in late April.
Likewise, some of Bob Juckniess’ 10 ampms on the outskirts of Chicago are down as much as 20%. And BP jobbers in the Southeast have reported 20% to 40% declines in dealer volume, with equally harsh drops in inside sales.
