LEADVILLE, Colo. — Floyd’s of Leadville has introduced a CBD Recovery Bar to its line of athlete-focused CBD products.

Each bar contains 25 milligrams of Floyd’s THC-free CBD isolate and is formulated to optimize recovery. Floyd’s developed the individually wrapped bars for more than two years, and athletes across multiple disciplines approved the product, according to the company.

The chocolate peanut butter bars are made from GMO-free, all-natural ingredients including organic honey, peanut butter, chocolate and gluten-free rolled oats. Each bar has 10 grams of plant protein and 6 grams of organic sugar.

The suggested retail price is $4.99 for a single bar and $59.88 for a box of 12.

Leadville, Colo.-based Floyd’s created its CBD product line to help people get over the pain and back in the game, according to its website. Company founder Floyd Landis is a former Tour de France bicyclist who turned to CBD to battle his own chronic pain. Floyd’s line of products also includes gummy gems, soft gels and protein powders.
