Candy company appoints VPs in marketing and sales
FAIRFIELD, Calif. -- Jelly Belly Candy Co. announced two internal promotions of employees: Rob Swaigen to the position of vice president of marketing, and Vincent Garibaldi to the vice president of National Sales Division.

Swaigen is now responsible for all domestic marketing and licensing at Jelly Belly Candy Co., based in Fairfield., Calif. For the last six years, Swaigen has held successive positions of senior product manager and director of marketing at Jelly Belly.

Prior to joining the company Swaigen was senior product manager at grocery giant Safeway working [image-nocss] on corporate brand homecare products. He also held marketing positions at Horizon Organic Dairy, Boulder, Colo., where he launched several innovative organic products, and at Hershey Foods Inc.

Vincent Garibaldi was promoted to vice president of National Sales Division. He joined Jelly Belly Candy Co. in 2006 as director of national sales responsible for domestic sales in the national/mass market channels.

Prior to joining Jelly Belly, Garibaldi was national sales manager for Fulton Pacific Packaging of Vacaville, Calif. He also held management and sales positions at John B. Sanfilippo & Sons, Blue Diamond Growers, Anderson Clayton Foods, and was general manager for Garibaldi Popcorn Company of Sacramento, Calif.
