This isn’t the first nut recall that has involved convenience stores this year. In November, Kwik Trip Inc., La Crosse, Wis., recalled its Kitchen Cravings Strawberry and Mixed Berry Parfaits after an outside supplier discovered an undeclared chocolate-covered nut in the granola mix. Two weeks later, Danone North America, White Plains, N.Y., removed more than 3,500 cases of its Light & Fit Greek Crunch Nonfat Yogurt & Toppings S'Mores flavor from shelves after undeclared peanuts were found in the product’s topper, the lid that often holds various nuts and other crunchy additions.
