NEW YORK — Popadelics, a brand that makes better-for-you mushroom snacks, is launching crunchy shiitake mushroom chips.

The mushroom chips are vegan, non-GMO and contain 8 grams of fiber and 16 grams of fiber per bag. Each bag is 4 ounces and contains four individual 1-ounce servings.

Popadelics flavors include trippin’ truffle parm, twisted thai chilli and rad rosemary + salt. There is also a variety pack available with all three flavors.

Purchasing the New York-based company’s snacks helps the Fun-Gal Snacks Foundation, a charitable organization that supports various causes centered around health and wellness, including the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research and their exploration of innovative treatments for improved mental health.

Popadelics, based in New York, is a manufacturer of better-for-you mushroom chips. Fun Gal, the parent company of Popadelics, was founded by Marilyn Yang and has a mission to create innovative snacks that harness the benefits of mushrooms and other under-loved vegetables while supporting social causes.
