First Hawaiian succeeds Bank of Hawaii

HONOLULU -- 7-Eleven Inc. has replaced Bank of Hawaii as its exclusive ATM vendor. First Hawaiian Bank, the state's largest bank, announced Thursday that it has completed the installation of 56 ATMs in all 7-Eleven [image-nocss] locations in Hawaii, according to The Pacific Business News.

As part of the agreement, the Honolulu-based financial institution and the Dallas-based retailer will conduct joint promotions, the report said.

The deal brings First Hawaiian's total number of ATMs to 278 in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan, the newspaper added.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

The convenience stores previously had a 10-year contract with Bank of Hawaii, said the report.
