Clyde's Gets Dynamic

Selects Pinnacle as Microsoft financial management provider

GLENNVILLE, Ga. -- Clyde's Market Inc. has selected Microsoft Dynamics GP financial management suite and the professional services of The Pinnacle Corp., a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, to provide implementation, training and support.

"For more than 14 years, Clyde's Market has used a customized financial management solution," said Gene Edwards, IT director of Clyde's. "While the solution was effective and customized for our business, the years passed and we fell behind the technology curve. With the implementation of Dynamics GP and the help of [image-nocss] Pinnacle, we expect to build a comprehensive management solution. This solution will provide Clyde's Market the ability to take advantage of emerging technologies and the visibility to analyze our financial information from perspectives that are not available to us today."

Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Microsoft Great Plains) is intended for companies standardizing on Microsoft technologies. It offers a cost-effective answer for managing and integrating finances, commerce, supply chain, manufacturing, project accounting, field service, customer relationships and human resources. Dynamics GP is designed to be easy to deploy and configure as well as compatible with Pinnacle's convenience retail suite and Fuel Smart, a fuel management system designed for high-volume petroleum marketers.

Other Microsoft Dynamics (formerly Microsoft Business Solutions) products include Dynamics AX, Dynamics CRM, Dynamics NAV and Dynamics SL. Together, they make up a suite of business management solutions designed to improve companies' performance and decision-making abilities.

Arlington, Texas-based Pinnacle offers automation technology focusing on the c-store and petroleum industries. It delivers products that automate c-store operations and supply chain management of fuel operations.

Glennville, Ga.-based Clyde's Market is a family-owned convenience store chain operated exclusively in Southeast Georgia. The company consists of more than 40 stores.
