Convenience-store industry veteran Suzanne Silliman, 57, of O’Hara Township, Pennsylvania, died on Aug. 10, 2025. She was senior vice president of data strategy and sales for convenience-store point-of-sale (POS) company National Retail Solutions, Newark, New Jersey.

“Suzy loved her work, but she was defined by her passions,” according to her obituary posted by Cicholski-Zidekfh Funeral Home, Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania. “She found peace and purpose in yoga, even becoming a certified instructor. She was a huge music lover and could always be found at concerts, big or small. Her love for dogs was unmatched, from her beloved Buster to her walking buddies, George, Brooks and all the other neighborhood pups. And of course, she was a die-hard Pittsburgh sports fan. She was especially dedicated to the Pirates, but cheered just as loudly for the Steelers and Penguins.”

“Suzy was awesome, dynamic, heart-filled and incredibly passionate,” said Mitch Morrison, vice president of retail relations and event content director for Informa Connect, Chicago, the parent company of CSP. She was “a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan; she and I loved talking about hockey, and we both shared a love of cats.”

She is survived by her mother, Joan; her sister, Carol (Anthony) Tallerico; her nieces, Nikala Tallerico and Sara Tallerico (Tim Beverage); and a large circle of friends.

The family will announce a celebration of Suzy’s life soon, and they ask for donations to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, in her memory.
