CSP Unveils New Website

Redesigned CSPnet.com provides broad offering of multimedia industry news

OAK BROOK, Ill. -- CSP Information Group, publisher of CSP Daily News, has redesigned and redeployed its primary website, www.cspnet.com. With today's launch, readers of CSP Daily News articles will be automatically directed to the new site upon clicking on any news article in the newsletter.

The new website design and format offers readers a broad offering of multimedia news and information, which is organized both by day and by category. In addition to the day's news, readers of the site are also provided quick and easy access to any CSP Daily News story from the previous five days through [image-nocss] a set of tabs that organize that content by day.

The new site also coordinates CSP's extensive library of multimedia programming: every news article contains links to related content, such as CSPTV video programming and both live and On Demand CSPNetwork CyberConferences, as well as access to CSP's conferences and events and more than 100 exhibitors in the 24-7 Connect Virtual Tradeshow.

For advertisers, the new CSPnet.com offers a broad range of marketing opportunities, including larger ad units and a bold new in-article advertising program available within article pages. "Google"-style text-only ad listings are also available. All advertising opportunities on CSPnet.com are available on a category-specific basis for audience targeting. In addition, a revamped Marketplace provides readers with a quick preview of the week's featured products right on the home page.

"This new site launch marks the culmination of months of hard work by the CSP Internet Group development team," said CSP Internet Group publisher John Callanan. "But from an even broader perspective, the site content, organization and presentation of CSPnet.com is representative of how the entire CSP organization has embraced the concept of multimedia information delivery and continues to lead the field with new ideas and innovation."

CSPnet.com also includes archived issues of CSP magazine dating back to 2002 and a complete library of CSP Independent magazine. A new "quick search" has been added to the "advanced search" engine on the site, and additional and ongoing improvements to the site's search capabilities will provide for improved search results.

And, according to Callanan, there is more to come. "Monday's launch is the first of several phases of redeployment and development of the site. Our team is already hard at work on an exciting array of additions and technical advances to the new site and its coordination with CSP magazine, CSP Daily News, CSPTV and all of our reader and advertiser touchpoints. Stay tuned."
