DTN Rolls Out DTN Portal Solutions

Allows clients to select, integrate web components

The solutions make it easy to deliver updated company, product and marketing information to help drive sales, effectively promote product, stay competitive and encourage customer loyalty, the firm said. The end result delivers a compelling fuel supplier website with secure access to [image-nocss] critical business intelligence that customers need to efficiently conduct business in today's competitive fuel market, it added.

DTN-hosted Portal components provide customers with updated fuel supply and product allocation status, on-demand access to business documents such as fuel pricing, invoices, credit card data and electronic funds transfers (EFTs). The components can be branded to match company standards and integrate into a supplier's existing website.

Business intelligence options that can be integrated into existing business websites include:

Online Message Center: Provides business partners online access to all business documents to reduce disputes and improve customer service. A 90-day archive is available and materials can be viewed, printed or downloaded as needed. Allocation Viewer: DTN TABS users can provide customers on-demand access to product allocation status. Each buyer receives detailed volume information for allocations directly assigned to them and availability status for unbranded rack channel of trade level allocations. Terminal Supply Viewer: Imparts product availability status at terminals. Defines products at each terminal and sets product availability status such as available, limited and out. Also provides details on expected re-supply dates. Private Transaction Center: Experience significant differentiation from other peer suppliers and keeps customers coming back with efficient online order reservation. DTN Web Hosting: For organizations who need to get a complete website up and running without a large and costly IT project; offers admin tool to help non-technical users add content.

DTN Web Hosting customers can update documents such as compliance and brand standards, maintenance schedules, procedures, credit card fee and other special programs and MSDS sheets with just a few keystrokes,said the firm.

User-friendly forms help handle customer service requests, disputed invoices, product orders or tank-level information. Forums and polls can be used to gain feedback from customers and offer dealer store-specific credit card settlements, industry and AP news, commodity and stock quotes, as well as DTN weather information.
