Murphy Oil Inks Fleet One Deal

Fleet One Local fuel cards to be accepted at all stations

EL DORADO, Ark. -- Murphy Oil Corp. has contracted with Fleet One LLC, a provider of financial service solutions to companies with fleets of vehicles and the merchants that serve them, to accept Fleet One Local fuel cards at all its Murphy USA gas stations.

Murphy USA has more than 960 locations in 21 states in the southeastern and central parts of the country, from Minnesota to Florida, with a significant presence in Texas. Murphy plans to build 100 more stations in the next year.

With its large base of existing locations and [image-nocss] expansion plans, Murphy Oil Corp. is a significant partner for Fleet One. This partnership allows commercial fleet customers more locations in which to take advantage of Fleet One's many products and services, said Robert Bert Nix, Fleet One's vice president of business development.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Fleet One is an affiliate of SunTrust Banks Inc. Products and services include private-label fuel card programs, electronic payment authorizations and billing, financial settlement, detailed reporting and a variety of other solutions. Fleet One also offers Fleet One Local and Fleet One Over The Road fuel card programs for businesses with company vehicles.

Headquartered in El Dorado, Ark., Murphy Oil is an oil and gas exploration and production company with refining and marketing operations in the United States and the United Kingdom. Murphy USA Marketing Co. operates retail gas stations under the Murphy USA brand.
