Jones Soda Co. just released its new Key Lime Pie soda in honor of National Pie Day, Jan. 23.
The sweet and tart soda, with an undertone of graham cracker, is part of Jones’ special release program, which offers a rotating series of limited-edition sodas that showcase the company’s fun brand personality and its skill in creating the unusual flavors.
The Seattle-based company is known for unconventional flavors and user-photo-submitted labels.
Labatt Blue
Labatt Blue Light recently introduced its fruity take on non-alcoholic beer, Labatt Blue Light Non-Alc Strawberry Acai.
It has 75 calories and offers notes of strawberry and acai. As the selection of non-alcoholic products expands, Labatt brings one of the first fruit-forward non-alcoholic beers to the segment, the company said.
“The new Labatt Blue Light Non-Alc Strawberry Acai offers a unique opportunity to shake up the non-alcoholic beer segment,” said Inga Grote-Ebbs, Labatt USA brand director. “Beer fans can enjoy a light and refreshing fruity non-alcoholic beer, the perfect alternative for holiday parties and entertaining.”
“Millennials and 21+ Gen Z consumers are driving mainstream acceptance of non-alcoholic beer, as well as trends like Dry January,” Grote-Ebbs continued. “As conscious consumption continues, some people choose to abstain from alcohol all together while others swap out drinks over the course of a night.”
It’s available in 6-packs of 12-ounce sleek cans.
Labatt USA is based in Buffalo, New York.
Clearly Canadian
Summer Strawberry is sparkling water company Clearly Canadian’s first new flavor launch in almost four years.
Summer Strawberry made its limited-time-offer debut in summer 2022, and after strong customer demand, selling thousands of cases in weeks, is now a permanent addition to Clearly Canadian’s lineup.
It features all-natural strawberry flavor and 80 calories per 11-ounce glass bottle. The MSRP is $2.69.
Vancouver-based Clearly Canadian is the only sparkling spring water brand sourced from across Canada’s pristine springs, containing simple all-natural ingredients and bottled in only recyclable materials, the company said.
Vaqit
Vaqit’s first line of award-winning ready-to-drink flavored vodka sodas are made with natural ingredients and premium vodka.
The flavors, which are 4% ABV, are Clementine Pineapple, Strawberry Guava and White Peach Ginger. The beverages, with no added sugar, no sodium and with 100 or fewer calories, are made in the United States with Illinois corn and distilled six times to create the cleanest finish of vodka.
“This flavorful, premium made drink is a refreshing alternative to the usual chemical-packed seltzers on the market,” the Denver-based company said.
The beverage has won several awards, including Denver Seltzerland’s overall 2022 favorite.
Dr Pepper
The newest flavor from Dr Pepper, debuting in February, is part of its permanent portfolio: Strawberries & Cream is the original 23 flavors of Dr Pepper swirled with layers of refreshing strawberry flavor and a smooth, creamy finish.
The regular version is offered in 12-ounce 12-packs and 20-ounce bottles; Zero Sugar comes in 12-ounce 12-packs. Dr Pepper says this is the only strawberry and cream-flavored dark soda in the market today.
Dr Pepper is a brand of Keurig Dr Pepper, which is based in Burlington, Massachusetts, and Frisco, Texas.
