Couche-Tard Taps Clearly Canadian

Retailer to sell dailyENERGY in Quebec

VANCOUVER, B.C. -- Clearly Canadian Beverage Corp. said its new lineup of Natural Enhanced Waters have been listed in Quebec by Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. Couche-Tard has chosen to feature Clearly Canadian dailyENERGYone of the three unique health conscious beverages recently launched by Clearly Canadian.

Jackie Fox, Clearly Canadian's director of sales and marketing, said, Couche-Tard plays a very important role in our strategy of gaining national exposure and in our commitment for securing tier one mass distribution channels for our new products. Laval, Quebec-based Couche-Tard is the largest c-store operator in Canada with a network of approximately 2,200 stores in Canada as well as a considerable U.S. presence, with more than 3,100 additional stores in 28 states. The Canadian stores are located in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The U.S. stores are located in 28 states. The stores are primarily operated under the Couche-Tard and Mac's trademarks in Canada and the Circle K banner in the United States.

Based in Vancouver, B.C., Clearly Canadian Beverage markets alternative beverages, including Clearly Canadian sparkling flavored waters and Clearly Canadian dailyEnergy, dailyVitamin and dailyHydration Natural Enhanced Waters, which are distributed in the United States, Canada and other countries. Since its inception, the Clearly Canadian brand has sold more then two billion bottles worldwide, the company said.
