CHICAGO — Molson Coors Beverage Co.’s new hard seltzer, Vizzy, has rolled out across the country.
Hard-seltzer sales are up nearly 300% so far in 2020, according to total market data from New York-based Nielsen through March 28.
Vizzy is made with antioxidant vitamin C from acerola superfruit. The drink comes in four flavors: Pineapple Mango, Black Cherry Lime, Blueberry Pomegranate and Strawberry Kiwi. Each 12-ounce serving has 100 calories and 1 gram of sugar and is 5% ABV.
Vizzy’s target customer base is 25- to 35-year-olds who are looking for positive additives to their drinks, such as vitamin C, Molson Coors said.
Bright orange packaging is designed to make Vizzy stand out on shelves, according to the company. Vizzy is sold in 12-ounce variety 12-packs and single-flavor six-packs of Pineapple Mango.
