BOCA RATON, Fla. — Sparkling lemon lime is the newest flavor from fitness energy drink company Celsius.

“This crisp and refreshing flavor combines the perfect balance of citrusy sweet lemons and juicy, zesty limes,” the Boca Raton, Fla.-based company said. “With just the right blend of tart and sweet, lemon lime is the perfect fusion of flavor and essential energy to quench your tastebuds.”

This new sparkling flavor, which follows the launch of sparkling strawberry lemonade earlier this year, marks the 30th flavor in the Celsius portfolio.

“Lemon and lime continue to be one of the most popular flavor combinations in the sparkling beverage category, and Celsius plans to leverage the popularity of the flavor combination to fuel those seeking an active, fit and healthy lifestyle,” the company said.

Celsius energy drinks contain seven essential vitamins, are non-GMO and have no sugar, no aspartame and no high fructose corn syrup.

“Made with a clinically proven formula of healthier energy-boosting ingredients, Celsius products are a better-for-you alternative to other high-sugar energy drinks on the market,” Celsius said.

Celsius Holdings Inc., Boca Raton, Fla., makes functional beverages that come in a variety of flavors, including Sparkling Tropical Vibe, Sparkling Peach Vibe, Raspberry Acai Green Tea, Sparkling Strawberry Guava and more. Its product lines also include Celsius Heat, Celsius BCAAS, Celsius-Stevia and Celsius On-The-Go.
