The Shape of CBDs

From gummies to tinctures, CSP breaks down the many forms of CBD

CHICAGO -- Like the pot-laced brownie that many college students experimented with in college, cannabidiols (CBDs) and other related medicinal remedies can come in multiple forms.

Some of the more popular versions of the product are capsules and oils, but CBDs can also take the form of ointments, e-liquids, tinctures, lozenges, sprays and even edibles such as gummy candies, or soluble products such as CBD-infused waters.

Typically, the product form a person chooses relates to the potency of the dose (measured in milligrams per milliliter), rate of absorption and the reason for taking the product. For example, edibles are a popular way of taking CBDs, according to San Francisco-based Healthline Media, because they’re portable and discreet, and people don’t have to question the dosage.
