BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- A BG Food Mart around the corner from Western Kentucky University Agricultural Center in Bowling Green--home of the Corvette Museum--now sports a Chester's chicken unit. Chester's is a leading fried chicken foodservice offering in the convenience store category.
Chester's Chicken "On The Fly" opened its doors Wednesday, April 25 at the BG Food Mart. This location is right around the corner from Western Kentucky University Agricultural Center. The hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. to midnight. It will have menu items such as Chester's tenders, Chester's signature potato wedges and biscuits, as well as other menu offerings and combos. The customer also has the choice of six different Chester's branded sauces to compliment the meal.
"I was looking forward to being a part of Chester's, but this company has really exceeded my expectations. Our grand opening was a huge hit," Kenny Patel said.
"This is our second opening in this area and it looks like both are going to have great success. Mr. Patel was a pleasure to work with. I can see his commitment to making this business prosper," said Dave Henderson, franchise business consultant for Chester's.
Meanwhile, a Home Run Gas Mart-Shamrock Convenience Store in Morrilton, Ark., is now home to a Chester's.
The new location will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will offer Chester's signature menu items such as fried bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits, as well as additional menu offerings to be complemented with Chester's branded sauces.
"We want to give our customers an exceptional product. Chester's allows us to do that by having great tasting chicken. We look forward to the success it will bring," said Brian Katton.
"Chester's will make a great addition to the Home Run Gas Mart. We are adding a strong and successful business to our team. We couldn't be more proud," said Loyd Jones, an area developer for Chester's.
