Waterway Gas & Wash is teaming up with Gateway Pet Guardians, a nonprofit pet rescue and adoption agency, which will have puppies and dogs of all sizes in kid-friendly petting station and exercise pen environments, and their representatives will be on hand to talk about the great work that they do.
Pets in the City, St. Louis' health food store for pets, will also be providing complimentary all-natural [image-nocss] organic treats as well as a dog trainer available for free five-minute consultations.
Waterway Gas & Wash said that it believes these organizations have an important message and is happy to collaborate with them. "We are thrilled to work together with Gateway Pet Guardians and Pets in the City," said Tony Reis, executive general manager of Waterway's Kirkwood location. "We help raise awareness while relating to our customers in a different way."
All dogs must wear their collar and tags and be leashed at all times. No aggressive dogs are allowed. Waterway asks that all dogs be kept out of the sales area inside the store for this event.
Waterway Gas & Wash has more than 1,000 employees and 18 locations in the St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver and Cleveland areas. Each store provides a wide range of car wash services, premium gasoline and both traditional and high-end convenience store items.
