INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) and Petroleum Marketing Group (PMG) have confirmed the brands that will soon be open for business when the Indianapolis International Airport Service Plaza begins operations this month. On or about Sept. 16, a Circle K convenience store and 24-hour Shell gas station will mark the start of service plaza operations.
Fueling options will include all levels of unleaded gasoline, as well as diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG). A total of 24 fueling positions will be operational on or about Sept. 16, while carwash, automobile detailing, and quick lube services will be added beginning Sept. 23.
Opening by the end of October will be a Subway restaurant, followed by a Petro's Chili & Chips, which will open by year's end.
Currently in the last stages of construction, the service Plaza is located on the south side of Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Drive and will be easily accessible to all vehicles arriving and departing the passenger terminal at IND, as well as to employees working at the IND campus.
A flight-information display monitor, located inside the Circle K, will provide up-to-date information on flights arriving and departing Indianapolis International Airport, and the service plaza will also offer a public men's and women's restrooms.
The IAA owns and operates Indiana's largest airport system. In addition to the Indianapolis International Airport, its facilities include the Downtown Heliport, Eagle Creek Airpark, Hendricks County Airport, Indianapolis Regional Airport and Metropolitan Airport.
