Kum & Go president [image-nocss] and CEO Kyle J. Krause said that the company has made a $10,000 contribution to the American Red Cross and will be directed toward helping Arkansas residents. According to Krause, it will take many more weeks to determine the full scope of the disaster in Arkansas, where the chain has a retail presence, so his company wanted to proactively reach out and support the recovery efforts.
"Many of us have watched the local news coverage with sadness as massive tornadoes swept across the South," said Krause. "We believe it is important for Kum & Go to help Arkansas residents since we have more than 25 stores in the state. One of Kum & Go's seven core values is 'caring,' and making this contribution to the American Red Cross is just another way to reinforce this value."Was your company affected by the second-largest tornado outbreak in U.S. history?
