Wilson Farms Helps CP Rochester

Retailer selling "footprints" to benefit Cerebral Palsy group
ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- In its continued effort to support local organizations, Wilson Farms Neighborhood Food Stores will once again team up with Cerebral Palsy of Rochester by selling paper footprints in area stores now through May 16. The footprints will be sold for $1 each and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to CP Rochester.

Last year, Wilson Farms raised more than $19,000 for the organization, it said.

"We are proud to team up with such a worthwhile cause like Cerebral Palsy of Rochester," said Paul Nanula, president and CEO of Wilson Farms. "Through the support [image-nocss] and donations from our valued customers, we hope to surpass last years fundraising goal."

Brian C. Klafehn, president of CP Rochester, said the organization is thrilled to team up with the locally owned Wilson Farms.

"Wilson Farms has generously chosen to partner with CP Rochester and each person with a physical disability that we serve to create a new Medically Oriented Health and Wellness Center," said Klafehn. "Their continued commitment to this journey through their support of our Run for Fun event is just one of the many ways we have seen in which they are involved in and truly give back to the community we share. The dedication and the enthusiasm that Wilson Farms and their staff bring to their business is remarkable. CP Rochester is pleased to have Wilson Farms as a partner."

Wilson Farms currently owns and operates 188 Wilson Farms, Sugar Creek and Wilson Farms Xpress convenience store and gas station locations across New York state. The company currently employs more than 2,500 people, and is headquartered in Williamsville, N.Y.
