In the six years I’ve been covering the beverage category for CSP, trends have been pretty easy to predict, mainly because they’ve been pretty consistent. Year after year, we’ve seen energy drinks grow by double digits; bottled water on a smaller, but as-consistent, growth path; and import and craft beers on the winning side of the equation, steadily taking share from domestic beers. On the losing side, we’ve seen carbonated soft drinks  (CSDs), juices and even that industry stalwart, milk.
