MIDDLETON, Wis. — Food Concepts Inc. (FCI), a designer and builder of branded merchandisers and store décor elements for the convenience-store industry, recently celebrated 30 years at an off-site meeting where it unveiled a new corporate logo.
“We showed a video that included highlights of our work over the years,” said Brad Duesler, Food Concepts founder and CEO. “Each of our long-term employees had an opportunity to share stories about relationships and opportunities in their personal experiences. It was both fun and very emotional at times.”
Food Concepts helps its clients create great customer experiences, Duesler said as he opened the anniversary celebration, noting the hard work that went into FCI’s growth and deep penetration in the industry. The company estimates it has more than 100,000 placements of equipment and merchandisers in convenience stores across the country.
“We’ve come a long way since we opened in a small office above my garage,” he said.
The new logo represents the company’s commitment to its customers and incorporates a legacy font and a bright-red, bold circular shape, the company said.
With more than 70 employees, Food Concepts looks forward to continuing to provide the industry with solutions, including comprehensive design and value engineering together with production of fixtures, signage, cabinetry, merchandising, point of sale and foodservice equipment, Duesler said.
“The one-stop-shop makes us the ‘easy button’ for rollouts of new programs for our clients,” he said. “We look forward to continuing our journey forward in building brand experiences for many years to come.”
