SPICEWOOD, Texas Two new limited-time quesadillas are on the menu at Kwik Chek/TXB convenience stores until the end of March.

Kwik Chek, which is in the middle of a rebranding to TXB (Texas Born), is offering chorizo egg and cheese (pictured) and buffalo chicken mac and cheese. The pair join the menu alongside the beef fajita quesadilla.

The chorizo egg and cheese quesadilla, made with savory chorizo, eggs and melted cheese and grilled between a buttery tortilla, is available from open to 10:30 a.m.

The buffalo chicken mac and cheese quesadilla, with spicy, breaded buffalo chicken and mac and cheese, is available for lunch and dinner from 10:30 a.m. to close.

“At Kwik Chek/TXB, all food is made to order on-site, with fresh and wholesome ingredients,” said Jimmy Crowder, head of menu innovation at Kwik Chek/TXB. “I love dreaming up menu items you wouldn’t expect from your average convenience store, and these quesadillas definitely fall in that category.”

In addition to the new menu items, the Kwik Chek/TXB kwikcard Rewards program allows customers to earn points when they buy fresh-made food from a Kwik Chek. Points can be used for cash inside the store or at the gas pump. Members can earn four loyalty points with every food item purchased, which equals 4 cents off at the pump.

Kwik Chek last year announced a plan to rebrand all store locations to Texas Born (TXB), with construction on four stores already under way, to emphasize the Texas roots and values upon which the brand was built.
