QSR adds more c-store units

MILFORD, Conn. -- During the month of March, the Subway quick-service restaurant (QSR) chain opened 209 new locations and reached a number of significant milestones.

The chain now has more than 23,000 open and operating locations worldwide, it said, including more than 400 restaurants in the United Kingdom.

On the nontraditional front, the Subway chain now has more than 4,500 locations, including 3,200 franchises in convenience stores, truckstops and travel centers and 200 on college and university campuses around the world.
