Convenience-store retailer Rutter’s is cooking up three new limited-time menu items—Kickin’ Chicken and Waffles, The Donut Breakfast and Grilled Mac & Cheese.

  • Rutter’s is No. 82 on CSP’s 2023 Top 202 list of the largest U.S. c-store chains by number of company-owned locations.

“Our team is constantly working to bring unforgettable food items to our extensive menu,” said Chad White, food service category manager at York, Pennsylvania-based Rutter’s. “So go and try our amazing new Inspired lineup, because it’ll only be around for a limited time.”

Kickin’ Chicken and Waffles includes a spicy fried chicken fillet drenched in Franks Buffalo sauce and with pepper jack cheese, pickles and coleslaw, all between maple Belgian waffles.

The Donut Breakfast is a savory breakfast experience that combines a sausage patty, an egg and white American cheese, sandwiched between a grilled sweet glazed doughnut.

Lastly, the Grilled Mac & Cheese features creamy white cheddar mac and cheese layered between slices of cheddar cheese and two slices of white bread. It’s grilled and topped with crisp bacon.

Rutter’s customers can purchase these new options at any time, as the food and beverage menu is available 24/7.

Rutter’s operates 83 locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia.
