The latest pizza offering from Ankeny, Iowa-based Casey’s is a thin-crust version with a touch of sea salt.

The pizza is baked to a crispy finish, and the salt “makes for a light, fulfilling eating experience that allows the toppings to shine,” the company said. “Like all Casey’s pizzas, the flavor of the new signature thin crust matches the original crust recipe that fans have come to expect from the fifth-largest pizza chain in the country.”

  • Casey’s General Stores is No. 3 on CSP’s 2023 ranking of convenience-stores chains by total number of company-owned locations.

Tom Brennan, Casey’s chief merchandising officer, said, “For years, Casey’s pizza has earned an incredibly passionate fan following, and our guests know that they can always get a delicious, fast and easy meal at Casey’s. We’re excited to give them a new thin crust twist on their favorite pizzas. Whether you’re a thin-cruster or love our original Casey’s crust, we welcome all pizza fans to the table to enjoy a slice.”

Cut party-style, it’s available as a crust option for single-topping, specialty and breakfast pizza.

Casey’s earlier this year debuted a pizza layered with three kinds of pepperoni—crispy-cupping pepperoni, deli-style pepperoni and traditional pepperoni—on Casey’s made-from-scratch dough.

Casey’s, founded more than 50 years ago, is a Fortune 500 company with 2,470 convenience stores in 16 states. Casey’s has also introduced new private-label foods such as cheesy breadsticks to draw consumers into its stores.
