CHICAGO  Convenience-store retailers looking for an edge in foodservice might want to consider a promotion for their grownup customers.

This is exactly what Chicago-based McDonald’s is doing with its Cactus Plant Flea Market Box, which includes a figurine such as Hamburglar from yesteryear in what is basically a Happy Meal, CSP sister Restaurant Business reports.

The figurine comes with a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries and drink.

“We’re taking one of the most nostalgic McDonald’s experiences and literally repackaging it in a new way that’s hyper-relevant for our adult fans,” Tariq Hassan, chief marketing and customer experience officer for McDonald’s USA, said in a statement.
