KSS Consulting Launches Dynamic Pricing & Performance Management

Tech firm adds Helps to team as partner

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- KSS Consulting, a division of KSS Inc., has unveiled its Dynamic Pricing & Performance Management suite of consulting services that is designed to help fuel marketers analyze pricing strategies, deploy pricing best practices and unlock profit opportunities. The company also named Ian Helps partner at KSS Consulting, where he will develop new business globally.

The Dynamic Pricing & Performance Management offering maximizes fuel marketer profitability in all time frames, from days to years, by using best practices/proprietary analytical tools [image-nocss] and processes that KSS has developed through its extensive experience with strategy and pricing process enhancement initiatives at more than 25,000 sites and terminals across 25 countries.

These new services target and deliver results in the following areas:
Development and selection of winning strategies in a competitive and volatile market. Annual budgeting and volume forecasting. Transformation of annual budgets into operational plans. Daily execution, monitoring and adjustment of operational plans to increase profits. Fuel/Store Link, determining the right fuel pricing strategies to benefit the entire location (fuel and store). KSS Consulting benchmarks a fuel marketer's existing pricing capabilities as the basis for improvement initiatives. The company then introduces best practices and technology into the pricing of fuel and its effects on the entire location.

To help develop new business, KSS Consulting has hired Ian Helps as partner. Helps joins KSS from Invensys plc, where he was vice president of business development. He brings extensive experience of the energy sector, having spent time working at Shell where he developed and ran a consultancy business as part of Oil Products Management Consultancy. Ian also has held positions at Powergen, Conoco and BP.
