RedPrairie Partners With RDS

Initiative designed to meet needs of smaller convenience operators
MILWAUKEE -- RedPrairie Corp., a productivity solutions provider, has announced that it is continuing an initiative with long-time partner Retail Data Systems Inc. (RDS) to bring its larger-scale software functionality to smaller convenience retail operators. The two companies are aiming to couple the same features in many of RedPrairie's solutionsincluding Site Operations, its handheld and mobile systems and Workforce Managementwith the ease-of-use necessary for organizations with a smaller order volume.

"We consider RedPrairie and RDS a great match for this kind of initiative," [image-nocss] said Mike Bockman, RDS general manager of the company's convenience store division. "Our organization has over a 50-year history of helping smaller convenience, retail, grocery and restaurant businesses implement systems like RedPrairie's in their stores. We consider their company an authority in automating many of the processes these customers enact every day."

Among those smaller operators already using RedPrairie's solutions is One Stop, a single-site convenience store in Dewitt, Ark. The business expects RedPrairie's solutions to help it achieve greater efficiency throughout the whole of its operations.
