Retailer also donates to local Honor Flight, Junior Achievement organizations

In other company news, Spinx has donated $12,000 to Honor Flight Upstate South Carolina. The date for the next Honor Flight for World War II veterans from the upstate is set for September 20, 2011. The Greenville, Anderson, Oconee and Pickens, S.C., sheriff's offices were involved in fundraising efforts to support this and future flights.

Spinx also recently provided Junior Achievement of Upstate South Carolina received a grant of $10,000 as a result of the 2011 Spinx Charity Classic Golf Tournament. The funds will assist Junior Achievement in its mission of empowering young people to reach economic success. The Spinx Charity Classic is an annual golf tournament fundraiser that was created to raise both awareness and funds for local charitable organizations.
