To gauge convenience retailers’ attitudes about the minimum wage, CSP conducted a survey of more than 200 c-store retailers in August. While most retailers supported the need for a minimum wage, they were mixed about the need for an increase, whether on the state or federal level, revealing through their comments very different philosophies about the purpose of compensation and raises.
