CSP magazine seeks nominees for eighth annual CRC Awards

OAK BROOK, Ill. -- CSP wants to find out how you're selling more stuff.

For the eighth year, CSP will present three retailers with Convenience Retailing Awards at the Convenience Retailing Conference in February. The awards recognize top category managers, marketing, operating personnel and others that are influential in advancing sales, in turn taking convenience retailing to a whole new level.

So share with us how you've grown category performance and sales. Was it through a knockout summer promotion? An increased focus on a [image-nocss] certain category in the stores? A companywide initiative to promote a new image or introduce a new program? Tell us all about it.

Previous winners include Open Pantry Food Marts (Best New Concept Store), Flash Foods (Best Loyalty Program) and Smoker Friendly (Best Tobacco Promotion).

Nominations are due by Wednesday, Dec. 20. Any retailer involved in category management, marketing or operations in the convenience and retail petroleum industry is eligible. Retailers may nominate their own companies; they may also be nominated by fellow retailers or suppliers and manufacturing partners. Please e-mail jbulat@cspnet.com with your nomination.

Winners will be recognized at the Convenience Retailing Awards dinner at CRC and also will be featured in the April issue of CSP magazine.
