CFN Introduces FleetWide

Extended multi-network card offers increased coverage

SAN MATEO, Calif. -- CFN (Commercial Fueling Network), an integrated commercial fuel card processing company, has launched the FleetWide program, a multi-network card offering access to 30,000 commercial fueling locations across North America through the CFN and Fuelman networks.

The emerging trend today is focused on rapid expansion and growth beyond just local markets as our customers compete in a highly competitive marketplace, said Bob Phillips, president, CFN. Our new FleetWide program provides an exclusive competitive advantage with one card, one [image-nocss] invoice, more flexibility and more choices on where to fuel, with more strategic locationswhile still offering CFN'sfeatures and controls.

The new FleetWide card offers all the convenience of a multi-network card with significantly increased coverage including a large national diesel network. FleetWide is now being accepted at all CFN and Fuelman sites, and affiliate Pilot Travel Centers, Love's Travel Stops, as well as participating Shell, ExxonMobil and ARCO locations. The FleetWide program offers a variety of services including unattended cardlock sites and retail locations.

CFN participants who join FleetWide can transition into the multi-network program by issuing the new FleetWide cards to their customers, and they can still feature their proprietary images on their customized branded or cobranded cards. In addition, customers will continue to have access to CFN's features, controls and benefits such as:

Highly competitive pricing. Expanded coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Full strategic card control features such as time of day and day of week fueling limits, stringent per day transaction and gallon limits and product controls. CFN Card Watch for added security, tracking and email verification of fuel purchases. The ability to maintain fueling accounts via the Internet 24 hours a day, seven days a week in real time, including electronic receipts via email personalized, full service, local marketing representatives to help set up accounts, profile drivers, issue cards, map locations to sites or services.

We went from 3,000 sites with CFN to over 30,000 total sites with FleetWide,' said Jim Pederson, vice president and general manager, Fleet Services Division, PetroCard. As a CFN participant, I now offer my customer base expanded coverage when necessary while attracting over-the-road and large regional and national accounts. Our customers still enjoy the controls and features of CFN and now have the added convenience of more retail sites, truckstops and cardlocks to meet all their fueling requirements.

With the new FleetWide program, CFN customers can choose to manage their own fueling accounts, receive detailed reporting from the card issuer, or take advantage of both options.

The new FleetWide program is currently being rolled out across all 50 states and Canada.
