Chicken King, a convenience-store foodservice concept, is partnering with Lula Commerce for online ordering, delivery integration and operations management.
Chicken King supports convenience retailers with layout planning, equipment selection, training and customer service. The foodservice concept’s president and CEO is Harry Markowitz, who was a marketing partner at Krispy Krunchy Foods for 11 years, according to his LinkedIn profile.
The company is leveraging Lula’s digital platform to enable online ordering across delivery platforms like DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub, while also simplifying back-office management for retailers.
“Chicken King is all about helping our retail partners deliver high-quality, ready-to-eat meals with ease,” said Markowitz. “With Lula’s support, we’re making it simpler than ever for c-stores to offer seamless digital ordering options that attract and delight today’s convenience-focused customers.”
Chicken King’s foodservice programs include no franchise fees or royalties, a simple and adaptable menu and fully customizable graphics, according to the company.
“An incredible brand like Chicken King, which emphasizes quality and retailer success, is the perfect partner for Lula,” said Adit Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Lula Commerce. “Our platform is designed to reduce the operational burden of digital transformation, allowing partners to focus on what they do best serving their customers.”
Lula’s Core Commerce product suite provides services to c-store chains including Jacksons Food Stores, Par Mar Stores, Clipper Petroleum, Robinson Oil Corp., Double Kwik and other retail chains seeking to enhance their solution stack with managed services.
