FACTOR Expands Education & Training Facility

University curriculum expanding

OKLAHOMA CITY -- FACTOR, a division of W.R. Hess Co., has announced the grand opening of its expanded FACTOR University education and training facility. The new university now includes more than 5,000 square feet of training rooms, office space and conferencing areas. FACTOR University is located at the FACTOR headquarters building in Oklahoma City.

FACTOR strives tokeep its customers informed and at the forefront of technology in the petroleum marketing industry. FACTOR University is another example of that commitment, said Gary Rhyne, FACTOR vice president [image-nocss] of professional services.

The university is equipped to meet the various training needs of new and existing FACTOR customers, including classroom and onsite training, e-learning and customized education programs. It features multiple classroom-style training rooms designed to train 12 to 24 people using overhead projection and other equipment. The facility will also consist of a multipurpose training room designed to accommodate up to 80 trainees.

Some of the courses included in the curriculum consist of Introduction to the ExecuTrak base accounting system, Advanced Report Writer, Advanced Financials, Home Heat, Service & Maintenance and a class dedicated to assisting convenience stores in the development of a scanning Price Book.

And the curriculum is being expanded, the company said.

FACTOR is a developer of software for the wholesale and retail petroleum marketing and convenience store industries, offering a variety of modular solutions and services powered by the FACTOR ExecuTrak corporate system.
