YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Fuel Up Free! gas giveaway began Monday and ends October 1. The retailer will award three monthly grand prizes: free gasoline for three years. The winners will be drawn August 15, September 15 and October 15.
We've all experienced a great deal of anxiety these past couple of years in the face of rising gas prices, said Scott Hartman, president of Rutter's Farm Stores. Our giveaway will put a fun twist on the issue, giving three customers one less thing to worry about.
During the giveaway, Rutter's will offer [image-nocss] weekly food or beverage specials. With each purchase of a special, a customer will receive an entry blank. The more specials purchased, the more chances to win, but no purchase is necessary to enter.
Participating sponsors include Aquafina, Ben & Jerry's, Edy's, Kunzler, Lipton, Monster Energy, Pepsi, Propel, Red Bull, Rutter's Dairy, S&D Coffee and Snapple.
Family-owned and third generation-managed, York, Pa.-based Rutter's operates 50 convenience stores in York, Adams, Franklin and Lancaster counties.
