Green Oil Christmas Fills Empty Stockings

Distributor-retailer donates $25,000

FAIRBURN, Ga. -- Geo. H. Green Oil Inc., a Fairburn, Ga.-based distributor of petroleum products throughout the Metro Atlanta area for more than 80 years, has announced donations to local charities amounting to $25,000.

The company was able to achieve record setting contributions of $25,000, surpassing last year's campaign by more than $8,000.00. Through a great effort from Greenway Stores and Green Oil office employees, we were able to achieve fantastic results, said Jim Callahan, Fairburn, Ga.-based Geo. H. Green Oil's director of marketing.

We are so grateful for terrific vendor partner support and a truly magnificent outpouring of what can only be termed as love' from our valued customers. Through their generosity and dedication, nearly 1,000 underprivileged local children are assured of waking Christmas morning with toys and clothing from the Empty Stocking Fund, he added.

Coweta County's Welcome House Women's Shelter, Fairburn's In His Great Name Family Ministry and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund will all benefit from the donations.

Callahan concluded, We are so proud to report that the spirit and true meaning of Christmas is alive and well!

Geo. H. Green Oil operates four locations in Georgia under the Greenway Stores name. The company also delivers home-heating fuel, kerosene, diesel, and off-road diesel to residential or small business customers.
