Offering ROA Lest We Forget magnetic ribbons

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- HandiMart Convenience Stores of Eastern Iowa have joined with the Reserve Officers Association (ROA), which represents citizen soldiers in the National Guard and Reserve, to raise money to help soldiers who have been deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq and their families, said the Iowa City Press Citizen.

Specially designed magnetic ribbons with the Lest We Forget inscription and the ROA logo are now available at all HandiMart stores, said the report

Net proceeds go to the ROA Lest We Forget Fund, which was [image-nocss] established to assist families of National Guard members and Reservists who have had to leave their homes upon their units' deployment, according to the newspaper.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Nordstrom Oil Co. currently operates 34 HandiMarts in Cedar Rapids, Marion, North Liberty, Coralville, Iowa City, Hiawatha, Fairfax, Amana, Williamsburg and the Des Moines area.
